Our team is always trying to make our products as easy as possible for our users. While there are many features you enjoy in Commander, they weren't available in the mobile app until now.

The feature many have been waiting for is the dynamic planners for company assets, shown below. It works primarily the same way the executive planner works in Commander. When threshold triggers are met, it will display either yellow or red rectangle. Users will then be able to click on that day/time to view the daily threat so the problem can then be seen in more detail. 

You can select any cell of data to highlight it or tap on any date/time to scroll from left to right. While scrolling, the next column with yellow or red will be displayed. If everything in the row is green, you will get haptic feedback (vibration) that there’s nothing more to show.

The display defaults to a 6-hour interval, however, you can tap the “6 hrs” button in the top right of the navigation bar to change that interval. The user can then choose from 24, 12, 6, 2, or 1-hour intervals. You can also filter your view to show all forecast variables or just the variables exceeding an asset’s default or customized alerting thresholds.

Also, this version adds better support for WDT’s international radar data sets. WeatherOps has supported the display of international radar data on the Location/Asset detail view for a long time. However, the main interactive map view could only display North American radar data. In this new version, when scrolling the interactive map around the world, the display will dynamically choose the best available radar data set for the region you’re viewing. For example, if you have assets in Australia, and you have radar set as your weather layer, then the Australian radar images will be displayed on the map. When you scroll over to the United States, our North American radars will be shown, and when looking at Europe, European radar data will be displayed. This change is done automatically without requiring the user to select which radar data set to show.

The iOS version will be released in March, and these features will be coming to Android soon after.
