What type of work do you perform?

I sell WeatherOps to a variety of industries. I’m currently in the process of developing my vertical, selling to healthcare, hospitality and outdoor event venues. 

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy creating awareness about WDT and learning how each industry uses WeatherOps. Additionally, I love the positive environment here. It’s also interesting being the first female sales rep.

Before working at WDT, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?

* Putt Putt Party Captain (high school)

* Event coordinator for City of Waco Parks & Recreation while attending Baylor

* Sales Manager for Advanced Academics: working with school districts throughout the US. The coolest moment was helping set up a blended-model school in Thailand.

What are some of your hobbies?

Traveling, movies, needlepoint, playing with silly Yorkie and I have an “accidental” jam business: The Farmer’s Daughter Artisan Jams & Jellies. My passion is fundraising and training for half/full marathons for charity. Previously, I’ve walked 15 half & 3 full marathons, raising over $150,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year, I’ll walk my 19^th & 20^th races. To celebrate my 20^th race, the St. Jude Half Marathon in Memphis, I’m raising $20,000 for St. Jude. After touring the hospital last year, I’m beyond impressed with how their research, survival rates, commitment to finding a cure for childhood cancers.
