Heavy to excessive rain is possible on Tuesday across portions of Washington and Western Oregon. Heavy rain will be developing across Northern Idaho and surrounding areas.
Heavy to excessive rainfall is expected across portions of Western Oregon and Washington as another Pacific front moves onshore. Several inches of rain are forecast over the coastal ranges and Cascades with a couple of inches forecast for the lower elevations inland from the immediate coast. Cold air is limited in association with this system and as a result, heavy snowfall will be restricted to the higher elevations.
Heavy rain will develop today and continue through Wednesday across Northern Idaho and surrounding areas. A general 1-2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts is forecast for today.
