Showers and thunderstorms are beginning to develop across the Appalachians in response to daytime heating and plentiful low level moisture. Coverage will increase through the day, with large hail and damaging winds possible. As the cold front across the Ohio River Valley continues to move southward, storms will likely become linear posing mainly a damaging wind threat.
