Severe thunderstorms are likely today across portions of the Plains and Great Lakes ahead of an upper level trough moving into the Northern Plains. As thunderstorms develop, supercells with the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will be possible. Across the Great Lakes, a bow echo is developing and moving across the Great Lakes. Damaging winds will be the primary concern, but large hail will also be possible.
