Thunderstorms are approaching the Milwaukee, WI metro area and will have the potential for heavy rain, strong winds, frequent lightning, and hail. More thunderstorms will develop later this afternoon over portions of Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. As these storms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, but an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
