Severe thunderstorms are possible today across portions of the Plains ahead of an upper level trough moving out of the Rockies.
Thunderstorms will continue to the north of a warm front across portions of Michigan and Wisconsin. Large hail will be the main concern. Across portions of Nebraska and Colorado, supercells will be possible this afternoon with the potential for very large hail.
Across the Southern Plains, a dryline will set up across western portions of Oklahoma and Texas. Thunderstorms will develop ahead of the dryline later this afternoon as the upper level trough approaches the Central Plains and provide the forcing for thunderstorm development. Any storms that develop will have the potential to become supercellular with large hail and damaging winds.
