Thunderstorms will be possible today across portions of the Southeast; some isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible, in addition to moderate to heavy rain. Across the Northern High Plains, rain with isolated thunderstorms possible.

The trailing cold front associated with the area of low pressure moving off the East Coast will allow for thunderstorms across portions of Central and Southern Florida. Moderate to heavy rain will be possible with accumulations up to 2". In addition, showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible through the Intermountain West and Northern High Plains ahead of a cold front. Thunderstorm potential remains low.
