Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible Friday across portions of the Ohio River Valley and Northeast. Across the Northern Rockies, light snow will be possible for the higher elevations.
An area of low pressure will lift into Eastern Canada on Friday, however, the trailing cold front associated with this system will allow for the chance for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms for portions of the Ohio River Valley, Mid Atlantic, and the Northeast. No significant severe weather is expected, but heavy rain, lightning, and small hail will be possible.
WDT preferred forecast for 24 hour snow accumulation through 7AM CDT Sunday
