An area of low pressure across the Great Lakes will move northeastward into Canada today with a trailing cold front moving across the Eastern US. Showers and thunderstorms will end in most cases by midday, however, showers and thunderstorms will be possible across Florida ahead of the cold front. The main threats with any storms that develop will be damaging winds and small hail.
