Strong winds are blowing across the Plains behind a cold front. The following image displays all of the wind related advisories currently in effect.
Winds could gust as high as 50 miles per hour and could make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. These are some of the observed winds.
In addition to the winds, low dewpoints across portions of the Southern Plains will increase the wildfire potential.
