Light to moderate snow is possible on Tuesday for portions of the Northeast as an area of low pressure continues to lift across the region. In the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, moderate to heavy snow will be possible for the higher elevations and rain for lower elevations.

3-6 inches of snow will be possible for most areas of the New England region, but some areas could see up to 8 inches. Over the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies, moist flow will continue with snow accumulations as high as 24 inches in the highest elevations.
