Light snow will persist over portions of New York and Pennsylvania through the day today; up to 6 inches of snow will be possible through tonight. A shortwave trough will bring 4-8 inches of snow to portions of Colorado and Wyoming.

The bigger story today will be the wind chill. Wind chill advisories are in effect for much of the Northern Plains.

Wind Chill Advisories and Warnings are in effect for the Northern Plains through tomorrow morning for portions of the Northern Plains and until Noon on Wednesday for portions of Indiana and Ohio where temperatures will be as low as -14 and winds will gust as high as 35 miles per hour at times, resulting in wind chills as low as -30 tonight and tomorrow morning.

Some light snow will also be possible across portions of Kansas and Oklahoma late tonight as a weak disturbance moves out of the Rockies. Only a few flurries with no accumulation is expected.
