Heavy snow is continuing for portions of the Northeast and snowfall rates are as high as 1-2" per hour.
For most of the day, the snowbands have generally been oriented southwest to northeast. Over the next few hours, bands will begin to become oriented more south-southwest to north-northeast and snow will continue through the evening hours. A Blizzard Warning is also in effect for Eastern Massachusetts from tonight through early tomorrow afternoon where up to 14 inches of snow and wind gusts to 50 miles per hour will be possible.
