There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms on Tuesday across the Desert Southwest.
An upper level low is expected to push eastward across Arizona and northern Mexico throughout the day. A pre-existing low will also be present over southern Arizona, southern New Mexico, and far western Texas. This, combined with moisture in the resent will allow for favorable conditions for a few severe thunderstorms. Several rounds of thunderstorms will be possible, with a few supercells capable of large hail, damaging winds, and perhaps an isolated tornado.
