Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall is possible for Southeastern New Mexico and Western Texas.

An upper level low will continue to dig through the Southwest, allowing for another round of thunderstorms across southeastern New Mexico and western Texas. Warm surface temperatures, ample moisture, and cool temperatures aloft will allow some thunderstorms to become severe. Large hail will be the primary hazard, but a few storms may produce damaging winds and/or tornadoes. These storms may also produce heavy rainfall with widespread rainfall amounts in excess of one inch and locally higher amounts in excess of three inches.
