Excessive rainfall is possible on Wednesday for portions of the Central and Northern Plains, as well as the Upper Midwest.
An upper level disturbance interacting with a stationary front will bring scattered to numerous thunderstorms to portions of the Great Plains and Upper Midwest. Rain will generally spread from southwest to northeast across the region, but high rainfall chances can be expected throughout the day. 1-2 inches of rain will be possible in general with locally higher amounts in excess of 3 inches will be possible. Flooding will be possible, especially in low lying areas.
