Hazardous thunderstorms are possible on Saturday for the Central Plains and Upper Midwest. Locally heavy rainfall is possible for portions of the Upper Midwest.

A trough over the western US will remain centered over the Rockies with multiple embedded disturbances to eject into the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest. Conditions will remain favorable for another round of at least a few marginally severe thunderstorms from the Upper Midwest into the Central Plains. Primary hazards will be hail and damaging winds. Excessive rainfall will also be possible across the Upper Midwest. Runoff and flooding, as well as flash flooding will be possible.
