Moderate to heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible on Thursday across the Upper Midwest.

An upper level trough is forecast to move across the Upper Midwest on Thursday. As it does, it will tap into deep moisture, allowing for moderate to heavy rainfall. 1-2 inches of rain will be possible in most areas, but some isolated areas may see in excess of 3 inches of rain allowing for flash flooding across the region.
