A few strong thunderstorms will be possible across southern New England throughout the day. A moist air mass will be present over the Western Atlantic extending into southern New England ahead of the front. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms could develop with a few strong thunderstorms possible. Any severe thunderstorm activity should diminish during the evening hours.
