Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Friday for portions of the Central Plains.
A weak midlevel trough will move across the Central Plains today. With a passing dryline, moisture, and day time heating, a few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible. While no widespread activity is expected, any storms that develop will have the potential for moderate to heavy rain, lightning, large hail, and damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
