Excessive rainfall is possible on Friday across portions of New England.

A strong cold front moving across the Northeast and into Canada will allow for heavy rainfall across New England. 1-1.5 inches of rain with isolated amounts to near 2 inches will be possible. Flash flooding will also be a concern in some areas.
