Scattered thunderstorms, some strong, will be possible late in the day on Thursday. Scattered thunderstorms and isolated flash flooding will be possible across Central Florida. Isolated strong to scattered thunderstorms, some strong, will be possible across Colorado and Utah. Scattered thunderstorms, some strong to severe, will be possible across the Northern Great Lakes.

The Dakotas: A weak disturbance moving into the region may cause the development of scattered strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. The primary concerns with those storms would be large hail and severe wind gusts.

Central Florida: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast over central Florida as a weak cold front stalls over the region. A few of the storms may become strong to severe and an isolated flash flooding threat is also expected.

Colorado and Utah: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms associated with lingering monsoonal moisture will persist over the region. A few of the storms may become strong to severe in addition to a continuing threat for isolated flash flooding.

Northern Great Lakes: A weak cold front advancing into the region will allow for the development of scattered thunderstorms. A few of the storms may become intense enough to produce wind gusts in excess of 50 mph and hail.
