With the weak frontal boundary across the central United States lifting northward, moderate rainfall with embedded thunderstorms are forecast across portions of the Central Plains. Elsewhere, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the Mountain West and portions of Florida and the Gulf/Atlantic coast due to sea-breeze shower/thunderstorm development.
