Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday for the Upper Midwest through Texas. Severe thunderstorms are possible for portions of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Upper Midwest through Texas:A cold front extending from the Midwest to the Central Plains and a drylinethrough the Southern Plains will allow for the broad region of potentially severe weather on Thursday. Cloud cover will yet again be a hindrance for the overall extent of this day, however expect another round of thunderstorms and line segments to be possible.
Kansas/Oklahoma/Texas borders: Near the triple-point feature where the low, cold front, and dryline intersect, there will be a particular focus for stronger severe weather. Very large hail, as well as a moderate tornado risk could occur in this region as stronger supercells form.
