An upper level trough will move across the Southern Plains with strong to severe thunderstorms possible from Colorado southward into Texas. With moisture returning into the area, moderate instability will allow for thunderstorm development. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes will be possible.

Tuesday's Hazards

Along the New Mexico and Texas border, as well as points eastward, the subtropical jet will move into western Texas atop moderate instability. Developing storms will have the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
