Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday along the Gulf Coast.

The slow moving upper-level low pressure system across the Southern Plains will begin to move eastward, progressing the surface low pressure system along the Gulf Coast. As the surface Low tracks to the east, substantial deep convection is forecast with the possibility of modified moisture and instability building inland, the potential exists for strong to severe thunderstorms along the coast. Primary impacts will be damaging winds with the possibility of an isolated tornado.
