Severe thunderstorms are possible Friday from portions of East Texas into the Ohio Valley.
Eastern Texas into the Ohio Valley: A trough of low pressure is expected to continue moving eastward on Friday. At the surface, an associated cold front will push deep into the Southern Plains and across parts of the Southeastern US which will act as a trigger developing a line of showers and thunderstorms. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are expected throughout the day with the main risks likely to damaging winds and large hail. Isolated tornados will be possible throughout the day.
