There is a marginal risk for severe weather on Monday across the Gulf Coast extending from southeastern Mississippi, Southern Alabama, to Southwestern Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. A cold front will begin to stall across the Southeastern US. Ahead of the cold front, dewpoints in the lower 60s and daytime heating will allow for thunderstorm development during the afternoon and evening hours. Winds greater than 40 miles per hour and hail larger than an inch in diameter will be the main impacts from any storms developing across the region.

In the Northeast, a rain/snow mix is possible across New York, into Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine in association with an area of low pressure across eastern Canada. Up to 2 inches of snow is possible in these areas.
