Severe thunderstorms are developing across portions of the Southern Plains ahead of an area of low pressure. Throughout the day, a warm front will continue to move northward and thunderstorms will develop along the dry line. A moderate risk of severe weather is in effect from Central Oklahoma and eastward into Southwestern Missouri and Northwestern Arkansas. As thunderstorms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out in Northeastern Oklahoma, Southwestern Missouri, and Northwestern Arkansas along the warm front.
