Snow showers and moderate to heavy snow will be likely across the high terrain of Northern Arizona to Northern Colorado ahead of an area of low pressure. Accumulations of 9-12 inches with isolated accumulations to 15 inches will be possible. Across the Northern Rockies, 3-6 inches of snow will be possible.

Elsewhere, a cold front will move into the Midwest Monday evening into Tuesday morning, allowing for light snow and ice from Southern Michigan to Northern Illinois. 2-4 inches of snow with a tenth of an inch of ice will be possible, but will become heavier Tuesday as the system strengthens and taps into moisture from the south.
