Light to moderate snow will continue Tuesday for the Four Corners region. Light snow will be possible through midday from Northern Georgia to North Carolina.

Snow will continue across the Four Corners region as an area of low pressure tracks into the Southern Plains. Most areas will see under 4 inches, but some localized areas may see up to 6 inches. Hazardous driving conditions will continue through the afternoon with additional snow and strong winds.

The frontal boundary advancing through the Mississippi Valley and Southeastern US will stall through the Northern Gulf of Mexico. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible across the Northern and Western Gulf, as well as along the coastal areas. From Northern Georgia into North Carolina, a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will be possible before changing to all rain in the afternoon. 1-3 inches of snow with light icing will be possible. Higher elevations may see up to 5 inches.
