Light to moderate snow, as well as low to below zero wind chills are possible Wednesday from the Great Lakes into the Northeast.
Light to moderate snow is expected as an area of low pressure continues to progress through the Great Lakes and into the Northeast. Areas through the Lower Appalachians into New England could see an additional 2-4 inches of snow. Lake effect snow will likely produce locally heavy snowfall in excess of 3-8 inches of snow. Strong winds will allow wind chills as low as 20-25 below zero. As the low moves eastward, it will become absorbed into the overall upper level pattern, likely enhancing precipitation into Thursday.
