Blizzard conditions will be possible for portions of the Great Lakes from this afternoon through Saturday evening ahead of a shortwave trough. Snow amounts will be as much as 6 inches through tomorrow morning. Wind gusts as high as 45 miles per hour will allow for windchills as low as -30, especially across portions of Michigan. Travel difficulties and blowing snow will also be possible.
