Heavy rain and flash flooding are likely on Thursday along the coast of the Pacific Northwest.
Pacific Northwest Coast: Another low pressure system will begin overspreading the Pacific Northwest Coast on Thursday. Increasing showers are expected for much of Northern California as well as for portions of the Washington and Oregon Coastal areas. A very moist airmasswill accompany this upper low with moderate to heavy rain anticipated and potential for significant rainfall amounts in excess of 3 inches. A risk for flash flooding and potential mud slides will exist across the threat area through Thursday night.
