Moderate snowfall is expected Tuesday across the high terrain of the Northern Rockies.
An area of low pressure will overspread the Intermountain West, increasing snow chances for much of the Northern Rockies. Accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches for much of the Northern Rockies while locally higher amounts of over a foot will be possible for portions of Wyoming.
Elsewhere, a second upper level disturbance will track across the Upper Midwest with light snow possible from the North Dakota/South Dakota border into southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. 1-2 inches of snow will be possible.
