No significant regional threats expected on Wednesday.
The coastal snow storm will depart toward the Canadian Maritime provinces and will quickly weaken on Wednesday. Some light to moderate snowfall may linger across parts of Maine through the morning hours before departing. Meanwhile, anew low pressure system is expected to develop over the Northern Plains early Wednesday and will shift east across the Upper Mississippi Valley and toward the Great Lakes overnight. A significant precipitation risk is not noted with this system. Some light to moderate snowfall is likely over far northern MN, WI, and MI into the western Great Lakes, while some isolated showers may impact parts of IL and IN. No significant icing is expected.
