Heavy rain and high winds will continue through tonight across portions of Texas and Louisiana ahead of an upper level trough. As the system continues to move eastward, 1-3 inches of rain, in addition to some flooding, will be possible. Winds could also be as high as 35 miles per hour in some areas.
