Pacific Northwest & Northern Rockies: Strong low pressure and cold front will slowly move eastward across the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies on Friday allowing for continued moderate snowfall across the region. Accumulations will average 5 to 10 inches on Friday. Isolated locations in the highest peak could near 12 inches on Friday. Valleys across the region could see a period of wintry mix during the daytime period on Friday with no significant accumulations, though a few areas along the Oregon and Idaho border could see accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch.
