Light to moderate snow is expected Thursday across the Great Lakes and Northeast; localized lake effect snow will be possible.
Another frontal boundary will advance into the Great Lakes and Northeast with lake effect snow expected through the region. Moderate to heavy snow with accumulations of 5-10 inches of snow will be possible; some isolated areas may receive up to a foot of snow. Winds of 15-25 miles per hour will allow for dangerously low wind chills, reduced visibilities, and difficult travel conditions.
