Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue for the Lower Mississippi Valley ahead of an upper level trough. While widespread severe weather is not expected, a few isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible with hail and gusty winds being the main threats. A few lightning strikes will also be possible.
