A few thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening for portions of Arkansas, and extreme western portions of Mississippi and Tennessee. This potential is ahead of an area of low pressure moving across the Southern Plains. Low level moisture advection and daytime heating will increase instability and allow for the development of thunderstorms. Damaging winds, and possibly a few isolated tornadoes, will be the main threats with these storms.
