Moderate to heavy lake effect snow will continue Thursday for the Great Lakes.
Current NWS Advisories/Watches/Warnings in iMapPro:
An area of low pressure advancing through the Great Lakes will continue to develop and deepen across the region. Lake effect snow is expected through the Midwest and Northeast as the low lifts into Canada. The heaviest accumulations will be across the lake shore areas of Pennsylvania and New York. Up to a foot of snow will be possible with the strongest band with lighter accumulations across Michigan and Wisconsin.
From Northern California northward across the Pacific Northwest, an area of low pressure will move inland. Rain accumulations will be less than an inch, but light to moderate snow is expected across the high terrain of the intermountain west with up to 4 inches of snow possible.
