Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday, November 14, 2014

Moderate to heavy snow is possible Friday across the Great Basin and Rockies. Some light icing will also be possible.

Great Basin/Rockies: A secondary frontal boundary will begin to develop through the Great Basin and Rockies on Friday. Additional rain snow showers through the Coastal Range, through the Great Basin and into the Central Rockies. Snow accumulations of 4-8 inches will be possible, with localized heavier amounts possible in the higher elevations.

Elsewhere, high pressure will remain in place over much of the Eastern CONUS. Isolated snow showers will be possible through the Great Lakes as low pressure lifts further northward into Canada. Significant accumulations are not anticipated at this time.
