Heavy snow will continue for the Upper Great Lakes late into the morning on Tuesday.
The Low will push across the northern Great Lakes and into Ontario on Tuesday, and the bulk of the snow will exit with it. However, before the Low and its associated snowfall depart US soil, a further 5-10 inches of snowfall will be possible Tuesday morning, especially across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Snow totals in excess of 18 inches are not out of the question in parts of northern WI and the Upper Peninsula.
Light to moderate snowfall will linger over the central Rockies, but is not expected to be significant. A few thunderstorms may also accompany the front stretching from the Great Lakes to the Texas coastline, but no organized severe weather is anticipated.
