Showers and heavy rain will continue Wednesday from Southern Texas through the Ohio River Valley.
Current NWS Advisories/Watches/Warnings in iMapPro:
A front will begin to slow and stall across the Texas gulf coast as an area of low pressure moves into Southern Texas. Some of the energy and moisture moving into this area will be from the remnants of Tropical Storm Vance moving across Mexico. Both of these will allow for showers and thunderstorms today. Rain totals will range from 1.5-2.5 inches with portions of Central and Southern Texas receiving 3 or more inches of rain. Flooding and flash flooding will be possible.
