Thunderstorms (and possibly a strong thunderstorm) will be possible for portions of Southern Oklahoma and Texas. Showers and heavy rain will continue from Texas through the Mid Mississippi Valley.

A thunderstorm threat will continue today for portions of Southern Oklahoma and Texas. No significant threats are expected, however, a few stronger storms could produce small hail and winds to 50 miles per hour. Showers and thunderstorms from Texas through the Mid Mississippi Valley will train across the area and produce moderate to heavy rain with 1-2 inches common, but up to 3 inches of rain will be possible for portions of Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. Some flash flooding will also be possible.
