Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday for Southern Oklahoma and Texas. Showers and heavy rain are possible for portions of Texas through the Mid Mississippi Valley.
Southern Oklahoma and Texas:
Another conditional threat is anticipated on Tuesday as storms continue moving southeast along with the front. Severe weather is not expected for the most part as forecasted lapse rates and instability remain meager at best. However, a few thunderstorms capable of producing small hail under an inch and gusty winds around 45-50 mph could be possible as wind shear remains moderate in the region.
Texas up through Mid-Mississippi Valley:
Showers and thunderstorms moving into the region will continue to produce moderate to heavy rainfall. Another round of 1.5-2.5 inches of accumulation is anticipated with isolated heavier amounts within.
