Thunderstorms are developing across the Plains ahead of a cold front and will continue well into the evening. Overall, most thunderstorm activity will not be severe, but a few thunderstorms could be severe with the potential for small hail. A few thunderstorms capable of small hail will be possible tonight over the Great Lakes.
