Severe thunderstorms and localized flooding is possible Saturday for portions of the Pacific Northwest.
Another area of low pressure will approach the Pacific Northwest with additional rain showers and thunderstorms through the region. Modest moisture and a strengthening of upper level winds will help to produce some stronger to severe thunderstorms through CA and OR on Saturday. Strong wind gusts and isolated tornadoes could occur. In addition, rainfall accumulations will remain under 2 inches at this time. However, due to the heavy rain earlier in the week, localized flooding will be possible.
